2nd -6th Graders sign up to play basketball in the Western Sedgwick County Basketball League! All players will be drafted on to teams by the head coaches; team placement is not guaranteed. Teams will travel to play other teams from Andale, Colwich, Garden Plain, St. Mark’s, and Conway Springs. Practices begin the week of October 26 after the coaches meeting, and games will be played on Saturdays during December through early February. The league tournament will be held after league play in late January or February TBA, normally grade younger grades are the weekend prior to the older grades (tentative dates for tournament currently). Check the league website for updates as the season nears. Admission is charged at the tournaments to pay for officials/awards, etc. Coaches will contact players regarding practice times & games shortly after the draft is completed. Volunteer coaches are needed for this league! Keep the jersey for years of use. Jersey is a reversible mesh tank top with print on both sides. Please indicate jersey size-no guarantees on #’s. Write down your current jersey number if you already have one.
